cat always pooingmy cat hasnt been right for a while now, she cant seem to hold in her poo and wait and sometimes now goes in the house(she has never done this before) she wipes her bum all over the carpets too. also she is on and off her food (sometimes not eating for days, others scoffing loads and still crying for more) i am writing today because she normally comes right up to her and doesnt leave you alone when you call her, but today she just is standing there looking at me and not coming over at all. she is 8 years old and im very worried about her, especially the pooing since i am pregnant and not ment to go near cat poo at the moment! should i take her to the vet or will it just be an expensive trip for them to tell me she will get over it? 8/1/06 Answer this question |

Check when you last wormed her for round worms and tape worms. Repeat preferably with panacur if it is more than a month ago. Check her teeth and gu health-look and smell. If in doubt vet. Also check her bottom any sign or soreness around the anus should be treated asap. If all these appear normal it may be worth having a faeces sample tested for any infection or digestive inadequacy. 8/1/06 |

she doesnt have worms i wormed her 2 weeks ago, she was in a car accident a few years ago n she crushed her pelvis, it seemed to heal fine, but could it be that coming bck? 8/2/06 |
