Cat's intestine is stuck together. Can this be nature?

Hello,

my cat's large intestine is stuck together. Can this be native?
Can cat live with such trouble? My vet during operation (he tought that this can be cancer, and now he isn't sure if this is cancer or just such formation) said, that there is nothing he can do to help with this.

Thank you very much

Abnormal intestinal adhesions can occur for many reasons tn different locations and to different degrees, each case if different and only time will provide the answer to your question. Follow your vets advice and keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks, I will.
Let me explain whole situation. A month ago my cat stopped eating. Some vets said that it's jus digestive trouble. But after about two weeks we went to another vet. He felt a big lump in her belly. After ultrasonography he recommended operate her after one week, because he thought it was a tumor. Same day he injected some medicine, and in other day my cat start eating, poop as normal. During this week she almost recovered. She looked well. After this week, before operation, my vet said, that this 'tumor' was almost a half smaller, than a week ago. During operation, vet discovered, that my cats intestine is stuck together. This coalescence is in normal intestine color, there isn't any dakness or smth, but bowel is like coalesced (four bowel from one lump). Vet couldn't say if this is tumor or not. He said that there is nothing he can do any more. And no advices from him.. What do you think, should I bring my cat to other vet, e.g. for blood test? Or something else? Same day after operation my cat ate normally, but in the night she disgorged all food. On the second day she didn't eat anything also no poop.. But today she looks a bit upbeat. She eats a bit :) But sleeps almost all time. Tommorrow we'll bring her to same vet for some drugs injection (drugs required after operation).
So that's all the story in the shortest way, maybe there is something, that you could advice? Or reason of intestinal adhesions is more clear?

Thank you a lot.

so the lump is made up of coalesced intestine. This could be as the result of a tumour or inflammation from some other reason. Best you can do is give it time record her weight on a regular basis and if it is changing then you may be faced with having to make a decision between persevering or helping her humanely on her way.Until that time spoil her like crazy and enjoy her company.
