18 yr old small dog messing in the houseour small dog 18yrs old has started messing in the house. She doesn`t seem to be unwell in any other way ,wee bit deaf,doesn`t see aswell as she used to , but still enjoys her wee mad half hour running about with the kids. 19/1/06 Answer this question |

From what you say it sounds very unlikely that any vet would advise euthenasia and there are medications and diets that can help with the ageing/dementia problems that affect all old animals ourselves included. We found that Hills BD diet was very beneficial to our ageing wiemeraner. Please let us know what is recomended and how she goes on. 20/1/06 |
