Neutered:Yes
Weight:34kg
Vaccination History:None as far as I know - farm dog.
Fed On:Now Chappie (after diabetes diagnosis)
Kept:Outside with two other lurchers - they have the run of a large yard and a pen with warm bedding.

Diabetes treatment schedule...

Can you advise if it is ok to feed the dog his second meal (of Chappie) a couple of hours before his second injection of the day? Or will it mess up his levels? Thank you.

Second injection of what? if insulin follow the directions of the vet for anything else i doubt that the time of feeding will be critical.

Sorry, I thought it was clear from the title I gave my question - yes, it is for Caninsulin, he is currently receiving 21ml twice a day. Is it critical for the food to be given just before the injection, or is it still safe for him to be fed his second meal of the day a couple of hours before the second injection? Thank you Stuart, I appreciate your advice.
