may be more of a potential problem rather than an acute one. However there may well be cystic changes in the uterine lining increasing the potential for a pyometra if she is left to go on cycling. As long as she is OK in herself and not drinking excessively then put up with it and think in terms of getting her spayed in 3 months time once the false pregnancy risk period. This is to reduce the risk of her developing a permanently pendulous mammary undercarriage.
Watch her carefully for the next 3 months and if she starts to f drink anymore than may reasonably be expected as the weather warms up then get the vets straight away.
if the bleeding continues for another 10 days or gets any heavier then take her to the vets. Sometimes they can bleed from vaginal polyps that need removing surgically.
