No shots given to dog

I have a dog that hasnt had any of her shots yet. I am going to take her in to be fixed tomorrow and I am wondering if she still needs to get her puppy shots or if i should just ask for the rabies/distemper ect....

She would need to go right back to the beginning and get whatever you have for puppies and also the full course.

I realise you are not UK as we do not have rabies but feel sure it would be exactly the same.

When we take in strays with no history unfortunately one of the things that goes with it is starting their vaccination programme all over again even though we do not know.

It would definitely be the case with a dog of 1 1/2 known not to be vaccinated. The vet will advise on this tomorrow anyway, but feel sure you could phone and check prior to going tomorrow anyway.

Do ensure that the vets know that she has not been vaccinated before you take her. They may well want to get her vaccinations started before 'fixing' he.
