Gender:Male
Breed:mixed between a mini-lop and dwalf lop
Neutered:Yes
Fed On:any mixed dry food ( normally pets at home brand) and veg generally one every two days + hay daily
Kept:out side; + now inside due to the cold weather

Dandruff?

with my rabbit both him and his brother seem to have the same condition; they seem to have got something like dandruff located on their backs, they are not loosing their fur or maulting, but their father had a similer condition so i am not sure if its hereditory, what can i do?

fur mite I suspect. Ivomec or similar ivermectin preparation is the most effective treatment and a few applications at 14 day intervals should do the the trick.
frontline spray is also very effective but rabbits can and often do react badly. Much of this reaction may be caused by the alcohol in the spray so using in an open spay preferably outside may reduce the risk.
