Side effects of Yumove

Last year the vet suggested Yumove for my aging dogs as she was getting stiff in the hind legs. It worked a treat and she was great on this medication. However, she has since had a bout of vestibular syndrome and I stopped giving her that tablets as she couldn't eat or drink properly for a few days. I'm scared to give them to her now in case they contributed in any way to the illness.

Any thoughts on this. I've trawled the Net and can't find anything. She is stiff again so I would like to give the tablets to her if they won't cause her any harm.

Answer this question
Chicco

I give yumove and know plenty of others that do. The contents are only natural forms of glucosamine, chondroitin, greenlipped muscle and a few other things.

Cannot imagine they would lead to an inner ear problem and would probably look elsewhere for that problem.

It probably didn't cause it, but it does make you wary of things when she was in such a state,

Can't imagine a connection and I would continue with the chondroitin

Hi , just to put this out there…..my dog has just suffered a vestibular attack .
I have just started her on yumove tablets two weeks ago. I googled side effects relating to these tablets and I interestingly came across this …..coincidence or more ????
